Liberal Arts and Management Program

Application for the
Ed Hutton/Walt Robbins Overseas Study Scholarship

Application Deadline: October 31, 2014

Mr. Ed Hutton and Mr. Walt Robbins were Indiana University graduates, each earning Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Business.
Born and raised in southern Indiana, both men came from impoverished backgrounds. Through hard work and determination, these men studied
together, served together in World War II, worked for the U.S. Government in Germany after the war, and together they ran a number of large,
multi-national corporations, including ChemMed, OmniCare, and Roto-Rooter.

After Mr. Robbins passed away in 1998, Mr. Hutton created a scholarship in Mr. Robbins' name that would provide students from southern Indiana,
but not solely so, who were studying both business and the humanities the opportunity to travel and study overseas.
